Q: What is the difference between residential facilities and supported living homes?

A: Our Residential facilities provide 24-hour staffing to 3-4 individuals, living together in a 4-5 bedroom home.

Supported Living homes are either apartments or houses that are rented by 1-2 individuals receiving 24-hour care and support through our program.


Q: Who do I contact about becoming a consumer of MVp?

A: You first must be a consumer of a Regional Center (e.g. Far Northern, Inland, Alta, etc.). Your service coordinator can then contact our office to begin the referral process.


Q: are there age requirements for residential facilities or supported living?

A: Residential facilities require that consumers be between the ages of 18 and 59 years old.

Supported Living services require consumers to be 18 years or older.


Q: DOES MVP PROVIDE MEDICAL SERVICES?

A: MVP is not a medical program but we do assist with non-medical issues in our SLS program. Prevalent issues in these programs include G-Tubes, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices.
